Of his time at NFC, Barry says “The most important part of receiving a Christian education was the in-depth study of the Bible. Understanding God’s Word requires much more than a 30-minute Sunday School lesson and 30-minute sermon each week. My time at NFC, followed by Liberty University, started me on a path of digging deeper into Scripture. This has helped shape who I am as a person and how I perceive God working in the world today, and those are the ideas I try to express in my books.”</p>
