<p>Chris is entering his 14th year coaching football at the Naval Academy. He has coached the offensive line for the last 7 years, before that coached the fullbacks for 5 years. Chris attended Georgia Southern University on a football scholarship, and graduated in 2000.<br /> Chris’ football playing career was cut short by a neck injury his freshman year. He continued to be a part of the football program as a student assistant coach. Following graduation, Chris coached the offensive line at Rhode Island for one year, before beginning his career at the Naval Academy. Chris and his wife Amanda have 4 children – Julie Grace(5), Reilley(4), Ella(2), and Bain(1).<br /> Chris reflected on his time at NFC by saying, “I was spiritually prepared to handle real life situations and struggles. Life is hard, faith is real, and we need a foundation. My foundation was solidified at NFC.”</p>
