Holly Gorham | Class of 1993
Math Department Chair, North Florida Christian School

Holly is in her 21st year teaching in the math department at North Florida Christian School. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in mathematics education and received a M.S. in mathematics education from Georgia State University.
Holly currently resides in Tallahassee with her husband Dennis Gorham and two children, Emma(13) and Jack(11), who attend NFC. Holly stays active outside the classroom as well coaching cheerleading at NFC, and as a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Holly said, “NFC prepared me academically for college; but, most importantly, spiritually for the challenges that would lie before me. I had such a firm foundation of what I believed and why I believed it. That is a credit to the teachers I had while at NFC. We are a family here, and I knew that I had people that cared about my academic success as well as my personal success. I was truly inspired by my math teacher, Adeeb Ayoub, to become a math teacher myself. I now have the unique opportunity to teach students at the same high school I attended, and hopefully make a difference in their lives just like my teachers did for me. I am proud to say I am part of the alumni of NFC and a teacher at NFC.”
