Recently married to his wife Jillian Purvis Woods, who is a first-grade teacher, the two have a rescue dog named Maple.
When asked about his time at NFC Jake shared the following: “NFC prepared me for college well in most subjects but specifically math, English, and history. Learning more about the Bible while at NFC, also has given me knowledge that I use every day of my life. It has made me a better Christian and a better man. Being on NFC’s football, basketball, tennis, and golf teams helped develop me into a better leader, team player, and hard worker. It also helped me to learn how to get things done in stressful situations when things are on the line. Overall, NFC helped prepare me not only for college, but to be a better person in life.”
