<p>Following graduation, Tanner went to play baseball at South Georgia State College. He went on to receive a degree in business administration from Flagler College, and a masters in business administration from Northcentral University. Tanner is married to 2003 NFC alum, Sarah Moore Collins, and they have three children currently enrolled at NFC – Fisher, Olivia and Rory.<br /> Tanner serves as the director of the State of Florida’s Division of Treasury under CFO Jimmy Patronis. He has extensive experience in legislative bill analysis, public sector contracting, federal and state financial reporting, public sector banking, and fixed income investments. Outside of his day job, he is most likely to be found on a baseball field. He has coached the NFC Babe Ruth team since he stopped playing baseball himself, and also coaches his son, Fisher, in advanced play leagues in Tallahassee, as well as on the Heat travel team.</p>
I often wondered if my small Christian school education had me prepared for college, and then law school. I quickly learned that I was as well prepared, if not better prepared, than my college classmates for the rigors of college writing and classwork.
