Cross Country

North Florida Christian Cross Country has a long history of distance running. We have had boys representing NFC in the FHSAA Sate series events regularly for over 40 years. While Covid slowed us down a bit for the 2020 season, we are rebuilding the program, with a great group of fresh, hungry young runners. They have great mentors to build from, like recent NFC Graduate, David Keen (class of 2020). David finished his senior year placing in the top 5 in all regular season meets. He placed 16th at State and placed 25th at the post season FACA (Florida Athletic Coaches Association) meet. – The FACA Championship meet is comprised athletes from all divisions, not just 1A, from the entire state of Florida.  

Historically, the team has always been small, but we have been able to field some stand out runners over the years. Most recently, we have been able to send a few runners to the District meet 4 out of the last 5 years.
