High School

North Florida Christian High School is grounded in a history of striving for academic excellence, discipline, creativity, and high expectations. This philosophy has endured over time, making NFCS a leader in Christian education. As a college preparatory school, NFCS prepares its students for postsecondary education and for the challenges of living in a rapidly changing world.

NFCS offers academic programs that are demanding, stimulating, and engaging. Our goal is to challenge students intellectually and encourage them to reach their full academic potential while providing them with rich learning experiences in a wide variety of subject areas. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in dual-enrollment with local colleges in their junior and senior years. Weekly chapels, in addition to daily Bible classes, promote the students’ spiritual development.

Our secondary teaching staff is committed to designing and teaching a curriculum that challenges students intellectually and promotes the integration of technology into instruction. Our SAT scores are consistently above the national average, with 90-95% of our graduates attending college. Honors courses are offered in many major disciplines throughout the core curriculum. The Guidance Department enhances the efforts of the teachers by monitoring student academic progress, consulting with parents, promoting college and career counseling, implementing testing obligations, and establishing mentoring opportunities.
