North Florida Christian School is a fully-accredited private Christian school with a college preparatory curriculum enrolling students from 3K – 12th grade. The school campus is located on over 30 acres in Leon County in northwestern Tallahassee, the capital of Florida. Established in 1966, NFC is a ministry of the North Florida Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist Church with multiple ministries in Tallahassee.
Accreditation
North Florida Christian School is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA). North Florida Christian is also accredited by the State of Florida recognized association the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) which is a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). NFC is also a member of Cognia which was formerly known as AdvancEd.
Mission and Philosophy
North Florida Christian School was founded on the belief in the inerrant, inspired Word of God, the Bible, the only infallible rule of faith and practice. The school exists to assist parents in fulfilling God’s ultimate purpose of preparing children to enter into and mature within His spiritual family, and to respond to Him with respect and obedience. The school seeks to assist in personal growth and development of students by providing an education based upon an integrated understanding of biblical principles and academic knowledge. Education with a proper emphasis on the spiritual, mental, social, and physical aspects of life will lead to a balanced development of the whole person.

Faculty
At North Florida Christian School, we are blessed with some of the best faculty members found in North Florida. We have over 50 teachers on staff who are all born-again believers and active members at North Florida Baptist Church.
All kindergarten through twelfth grade teachers hold terminal degrees with 39% holding a Master’s degree or higher.
