Preschool Admissions Process

Step 1: Compile all necessary documents for the application, including:

• Birth Certificate
• State of Florida Immunization records
• School entry physical form signed by pediatrician
• VPK Certificate (if applicable)

All documentation must be in either .pdf or .doc format.

Application Steps

• A tour of the school with you and your child
• A teacher recommendation form sent to previous school(s) – this is sent by NFC directly to previous school
• An assessment or shadow time – these are scheduled in advance and typically take 20-30 minutes

Age Criteria

3K: Any student entering our 3K program must be three years of age by September 1st and must be fully potty trained

4K: Any student entering our 4K program must be four years of age by September 1st

Step 2: Complete the online application

Fill out online application to secure your spot at NFC (link will be provided in an acceptance email).  As part of the application, you will need to upload the documents listed above into the application (except for the VPK certificate. We will contact you to submit that). All documents must be submitted to be able to complete the application. 

For 3K students, and 4K Full Day students, there is a $250 application fee per student that is paid as part of the application. The application cannot be submitted until the fee is paid. For students enrolling in 4K Half Day, the fee is covered by the VPK Certificate.
