She joined the network in 2007 as a Washington D.C.-based correspondent covering the Supreme Court and as the anchor of America’s News Headquarters. Shannon earned a B.S. in business management from Liberty University, graduating magna cum laude; and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, graduating with honors.<br /> After law school, Shannon practiced law with a private firm in Florida for a few years before pursuing her true passion, news. Shannon worked in broadcasting in Tampa, Charlotte, and Washington D.C before landing at Fox News Channel.
